We can't forget the First World War when Epic battles at Vimy Ridge and other battlefields broke the German Army whose soldiers feared the Canadians. We'll forget the war of 1812 when the Americans invaded Canada and got their Canadian military lesson. That isn't the original White House is it. My father on the rare occasion that he would discuss the 2nd world war told me the best soldiers he fought with were Ghurka skirmishers from Nepal and the worst were the Americans who needed a train car load of cigarettes and Hershey bars before they could move forward one foot.
