RE: 22/2- shelly

RE: 22/2- shelly yet again JW (sherlock)Maclean does it again! Shelley- At the AGM, Art showed a great amplitude map of the shelley prospect. As your map shows the green blob goes west of the discovery well and has a sharp linear northern margin. Notice the wells to the N of that line.. Well the seismic amplitude map showed better amplitudes to the west of the discovery well and no amplitude where the northern edge is. The updip trap is made by a pinch-out of the sand to the north, seperating the oil pool from wet wells to the N... We have a classic strat trap here. If you remember, Art drilled 8Z horizontally to prove this concept at Brenda! I bet Art will drill in the middle of those higher amplitudes to the west of the discovery well. Higher amplitudes =thicker pay?? This is a Brenda "Lookalike" 30-50mmstb RR. Early tie-in into the Venture system. Bigbadun'
