RE: Net (gross)

RE: Net (gross)The 90 feet reported is the thickness of the Oil column not net reservoir pay. The oil colomn is the vertical distance from the Oil/water contact to the gas/oil contact. Now they mentioned a small gas cap in the 2nd deviated well but did not mention a oil/water contact. That COULD mean there is oil all the way to the base of the Tay sand so the Oil column reported of 90 feet could be larger... Maybe they are thinking that way and thats why they are drilling 4 appraisal well to the SW (downdip huh????). Hey Tar no one reports that we got 65% of a vertical pay that way - thats too damn silly.. Pay is important but so is the area of pay. That is why they are appraising- to determine the ultimate area of pay. Hey G40- I used the word COULD ok??? Bigbadun'
