RE: This insider selling kinda bugs me

RE: This insider selling kinda bugs meJust a guess, but imagine you'll be a tad less sanguine if the stock tanks on mediocre - or worse - news. Last fall, winter and spring was pretty nerve-wracking for those of us who gutted it out. Investors were anything but forgiving towards management, and I'm not eager to revisit that sentiment. Anyway, as I wrote previously, I'd be much more comfortable with open-market stock purchases by insiders, but there has been precious little of that. If the results are so positive and the prospects so good, why sell the options so aggressively when they're not about to expire? I've bought extremely well; I want to ensure that I exit well, and this is one piece of the puzzle. That's all I'm sayin'. - beck ========================== In other words - A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush! The Oilexco execs have, (as have we!) experienced their fair share of delayed gratification. Everyone, at some point in their life, if they have the opportunity, wants to get out of debt, help their children off to a start in life, pay off the ex - if necessary and buy the boat/car/ airplane of their dreams before they're too old. I also suspect that they will have the opportunity for more options in the future as well...
