RE: no brain surgeons or rocket scientists here
RE: no brain surgeons or rocket scientists hereWith all the incisive analysis by brainiacs such as MPJ,
grommett, etc, etc, what is an informed investor to do?
Cprom my friend, you obviously don't follow the flow of the
thread or you'd understand that we're just a bunch of simple
shareholders trying to amuse ourselves while we wait for the
almighty one to make a move.
Obviously all the respondents in this room should pool their
resources and send a representative to Washington and
Baghdad to get this prospective "company maker" opportunity off
high center. It is clear that Mr. Millholland has done very little to
cure the Middle Eastern geopolitics that keeps UN sanctions
from being lifted. I suspect that grommett or MPJ could be a
valuable emissary to negotiate the ending of these UN
sanctions.
Obviously we don't expect Art to solve the problems in the
Middle East, what a stupid comment.
They have obviously cobbled together some more cogent
ideas than Mr. Millholland. I suppose it is they that have been
awarded lifting contracts and have such good contacts both in
Washington and Iraq. And even if they could negotiate new lifting
contracts, I suspect that they would continue to market these
contracts at a loss if the margins were miniscule....just so they
could say that they lifted crude! That kind of brilliant business
acumen just isn't available on every street corner.
oh come on now Cprom, nobody questions Art's political
connections. Let's talk about the ego that put a tanker on the
annual report cover 2 years ago and a tanker in the middle of the
desert last year. Gee, I wonder why expectation are high
surrounding Iraq. Now we get the North Sea. I hope it all comes
together or we'll have you back here scolding us again when next
years cover is somewhere in Mongolia. Art brings this crap on
himself with a total lack of communication with shareholders,
many of us in at 10x the current price. Art seems to think that a
one line sentance at the bottom of a quarterly financial
statement
is sufficient shareholder communication. Of course
shareholders get impatient - how the hell are we supposed to
know if the margins on heavy oil suck if the company doesn't say
anything about it. While I'm here - what happened to the deals
with Talisman and $50 mill. financing with Canaccord
that were announced and then just disappear without a trace?
There are so many of these instances we have become a bit
leary of "cogent" ideas. But we can have some fun while we wait
for the "cogent" ideas to become reality.
Perhaps it may be a better strategy to hold the stock and stop
trying to micro-analyze every press release from the United
Nations with breathlessness. Or....sell your stock to me for 18
cents. Then with those proceeds, you could buy other stocks that
your insightful analysis would turn into winners! Maybe all the
great (but unreported) ideas you have about ending the
stalemate in the Middle East should be elucidated on these
Bullboards. Perhaps, Mr. Millholland even looks at these
communiques and could utilize all of your terrific advice and
worldwide contacts. Will monitor the board and hope to see
some earth shattering responses
Oh we've been holding the stock for long enough thank you.
You aren't even bidding for the stock and the bids are the
weakest I've seen them in along time - where are your bids? Not
even the board of directors buys Oilexco shares, just us
brainiacs.
None of us dispute that Art has the political connections to make
Iraq happen when the dust settles. Who would even bother with
this stock if it weren't the case? You are way off base. You like
mythology so you'll like it here. We're either investing in a myth or
this will become a mythical stock one day. In the meantime. Pop
a few Zoloft, sit back with your books on ancient Greece and let's
see if Art can pull off a deal in the North Sea. We all hope he is
successful.
