RE: More North Sea News

RE: More North Sea Newsi think Art has already been taking advantage of this already, vis-a-vis DTI/UK govt pressure on companies. The larger companies have more to lose as they tend to have large acreage around producing pools. These projects have to compete (budget wise) with international plays around the world (i.e. Gulf Of mexico deep/ West Africa etc). Hence they may have wells planned for the N Sea intermittently. Along comes the UK govt and says you cant sit on your a** anymore and you have to drill the surrounding acreage or lose it baby!! Hence we get deals with Concoco and (hopefully!) Kerr MCGee. For smaller companies like Oil and AEN, the N Sea is their main "dish". Art with his rig is in a very good position. I think the 21/4 well is his "big swinger!" Look for a location in the NW corner of 21/4. (thanks to JW's great find of a paper!) Bigbadun'
