RE: WTF We AIN"T on Black Horse

RE: WTF We AIN"T on Black HorseHey Johnny: its confusing isnt it? Is the original 18/22 well the vertical and they have cut a slim hole deviated hole from very near surface to evaluate the shallow target? Then they will plug back and go ahead and drill the vertical to the Jurassic. Probably running intermiedate casing across the uphole plug. This is a deep play (11000' +)... but who knows!! If seismic shows a big structure why not drill 1700m away, you have to evaluate the size. Also you cant compare Development strategies for the shallower Brenda to this. Obviously the deeper Jurasic is in a fault block and is structurally controlled (Most Jurassic plays in the N.sea are). Brenda is a strat. play so Art just stepped out very gingerly... Bigbadun'
