That is a big jump from almost none shorted. Most likely because of the monthly production news. I don't think it was all that bad. They are still slightly ahead of their Ramp-up Plan.

The good thing is that the shorter will need to buy back those million shares.
I bought some more shares on the dip today. Looks cheap at this price near 52 week low.
