A direct consequence of the Inequality of Clausius is the Second Law of Thermodynamics or the Law of Entropy which in its simplest interpretation says that in every process entropy always increases when both the system under study and its surroundings are taken into account.
From a statistical thermodynsmics point of view an increase in entropy is associated with energy transforming from an improbable state to a more probable state. That's my basis for analysing just about everything. That CGXs sp would be this high is highly improbable if one were to carefully read their financial statements and especially their MDA where they talk about their subsiduary ON that you're interested in btw. The company is showing minus 306 million, if memory serves, in share holder equity with zero operating revenue with huge operating expenses sure to deliver a huge net loss in income the next reporting period. So shareholders have already lost 306 million dollars out of their pockets. We got people saying that they averaged down to 30 cents which some may have done but most have obviously already lost a pile of money.
So we come back to entropy. What is CGX's most probable state. The current sp is not reflecting healthy net income nor earnings per share. It is reflecting a bet that CGX's most probable state is some sort of JV. I have my own, private opinion on that. You're bets are the most sound in my opinion. Land as a proxy on CGX success and if it fails then whoever picks up the assets picks up the port so you're hedged either way because that port is going to go ahead. Got UAE money looking hard into it. Huge deepwater facility like in Dubai, the hub of international container shipping. Asia sends stuff to Dubai, gets offloaded and put on other ships bound for points in Africa, Europe, Americas etc.
The Dubai people want to turn Guyana into the shipping hub of the Americas. So your most probable state is to not really care if CGX hits or not.
