Prospects for Revett Going It Alone Again

I'm not sure what the outcome of the merger vote will be at this time. I do know how I voted. Your vote is up to you.  If you look at the 6 month copper price chart, since January, about when Revett may have made it's decision to give up and call it quits, you may notice that a significant upward trend is developing. In January, copper prices were somewhere around $2.40 a pound and now are around $2.75. Is that not an upward trend? As far as silver is concerned, the charts seem to indicate a bottom is well in place and upward trend may be starting to be happen. Please correct me if you think that I am wrong! If Hecla mining can make a profit during difficult times, why can't Revett make money and remain a going concern when prices are improving? Am I wrong to think that Revett should reconsider their thinking on this decision? What do you think? All the best!

Hecla has the cash to burn to get this fire started.  Revett doesn't have the cash to quick start the mine even if silver jumped in price by 50%!. This miner became a basket case when the price of silver dropped below $30 an ounce.  Just can't make any money with silver at $17........It has No money to develop new mines, or to fight the environmentalists........which means it ...more
