When you visit the page with the list of licenced producers on health canada, it is written that there will be an update. In this article is explained what will be new:

Although the website lists the producers as being medical marijuana companies, the spokesperson said the website information simply has yet to be updated.

Until Oct. 17, people were not allowed to apply for a recreational licence, as it wasnt legal.

However, the numbers of producers may spike soon.
