my 2019 recap for this company

when investing i think it's important to do recaps periodically. these are some things that i think were some of the major events for this company and us here during 2019.

• the loss of some close friends like truecanadian, hawkeye and benz. we won't forget you!

• the insight and wisdom we got from howdy, valor, and coffeebacon

• getting the edmonton license (but not for all rooms as we found out later!)

• getting the markham sales license

• the europe jv

• george saving bonify

• the oct conf call that there wasn't a recording or replay made available of, despite recordings or replays of quarter conf calls being very common for other companies

• the first shipment to wayland

• the patent lawsuit

• the license and shipment to australia

• the new directors

• the marketing deal

• george on midas letter and james's edmonton tour

• uncertainty about the debentures

• the huge share price drop

as we leave 2019 and enter 2020, what are the things that you'll remember most about 2019 for this company?

You sure missed a lot of very big points about this company and mentioned a few pointless ones so I don't really get that post, trying to subtly make the company look bad? Did you ever invest and buy in to this company?

which "very big" 2019 events did i miss? the led lighting maybe? your additions to the list are very welcomed! as an objective investor, i do look at both the good and the not-so-good events of the year, regardless of the company. i want to understand this company and any other company from all perspectives. yes, some progress was made this year by this company, but there were some ...more

There is too much going on for this company and I don't have the time to list it all. But I will say that your 1st 2 points are about random stockhouse posters who have nothing to do with the company. Some quick points are the lights, microbes x 2, consulting/services, high yield low cost small footprint, McGill, Tea, George on BNN as an expert 5 or more, Amsterdam seeds, etc.

crash, have you ever used that thing called sedar to look at old quarterlies when doing your dd? use sedar to find this company's quarterlies from last year. post their dates here. then assume that this year's will be released at approx the same time of the year that last year's were if you want an estimate. - ashleigh

Not from my understanding. Year end was October 31st and they get 4 months for year end?? so end February. Then Q1 will end Jan 31 2020 and we will get that end of March. Hopefully the amendment and other 5 rooms get going soon and some cropping can be done before end of April so the June Q2 has more full production numbers in it. As you mentioned before, Markham should be producing at full ...more

howdy, please read my first comment again. it very obviously says the recap is about "major events for this company and us here during 2019". the "and us here" chunk refers to this board. that's why i paid my respects to those who are no longer with us afaik, and why i listed some major contributors too. investing is about more than just the company. it's also about ...more

Ashleigh your efforts here for months as a none investor are hard to understand, but thanks for the thumbs ups. I think your statement about fallen investors is incorrect as Benz and Hawk never said they sold or lost faith, they were just deleted from stockhouse. I dont know for sure of course besides their last posts that were in full support of the company and making statements that they are ...more

i will always think of hawkeye and benz and truecanadian as fallen comrades regardless of their stock holdings. what's important to me is that they were once members of our community here, but afaik they no longer post here for whatever reason. we suffer from the void they have left. we can no longer tap into their knowledge about this company and its operations. we can no longer rely on their ...more
