1 yr of cash at quite a cost...in terms of dilution. They've more than doubled the number of shares outstanding. If one was hoping for a partnership with someone with deep pockets this is quite disappointing. Phase 1/2 of insulin testing is done. Interim results are out. We are waiting for final detailed results, and then outcome of discussions with the FDA about phase 3 testing.
So, if the new share issue is all sold, yes we have another year of funding. But given the blockbuster nature of the technology, the BIG question is why can't they find a decent partner. The fact that they can't.....this is the really disappointing news.
