As previously posted, that puts us with monthly revenue around- 164,158 X 4/3 = $218,877 per mo. https://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/viewmessage.asp?no=892097&tableid=1 $218,877 per mo X 1.35 as of April 1 2000 (at the latest and hinted to be sooner)= $295,484 per mo. SCS Solars system available April 1 to European clients SCS Solars Computing Systems Inc SCS Shares issued 30,557,801 Jan 20 close $1.14 Fri 21 Jan 2000 News Release Mr. Frank Wells reports Under the company's agreement with HitchHiker Software GmbH of Frankfurt, Germany, new European clients will be in a position to use Solars's system as of April 1, 2000. HitchHiker anticipates that 10 of its existing client base will be part of the initial launch. These contracts are projected to increase Solars's existing monthly revenues by 35 per cent. Thomas Boffo, managing director of HitchHiker, said, "There is strong interest and an immediate need for Solarnet's searchable database product from our European air consolidator clients." Frank Wells, chairman of Solars, said: "This reaffirms that the air consolidator segment of the travel industry will continue to represent a primary sales focus for Solars this year. At the same time, we are pleased to report that the level of travel agents using our system and their related activity has increased by 326 per cent and 437 per cent, respectively, from the same period a year ago." HitchHiker is a European travel software company, with a proven track record for providing inventory and management automation solutions to the air consolidator market. https://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/viewmessage.asp?no=892098&tableid=1 As noted at the end of this NR, TourTek has not even been formally introduced to the market yet. So from the HitchHiker deal were at $295,484 per mo. Divide this $400,000 over the eleven months left in 2000 (contract signed Jan 31 2000) = $400,000/11 = $36,363 per mo. " $295,484 per mo. puts us at $331,847 per mo. SCS Solars closes first TourTek sale SCS Solars Computing Systems Inc SCS Shares issued 30,557,801 Jan 31 close $1.20 Tue 1 Feb 2000 News Release Mr. Frank Wells reports SCS Solars Computing Systems has signed a software licence and support contract with Grand Adventures Tour & Travel Publishing Corporation (GATT) of Austin, Tex. Under the agreement, GATT will use the TourTek inventory management and reservation system for all of its operating requirements. Solars acquired the TourTek system on Nov. 26, 1999. Jay Juba, president and chief operating officer of GATT, said: "After researching available tour operator reservation systems, TourTek was selected as it not only combines the best features of its competitors, but includes exclusive functionality, which is necessary in today's Internet-driven environment. TourTek is also the only tour program, which incorporates Oracle, the world's leading supplier of software for information management." Frank Wells, chairman of Solars, said: "GATT's contract formalization, subsequent to it beta testing of the product, validates our position that this software has market value and is state-of-the-art. In fact, there have been several tour operators looking at the TourTek system without any sales and marketing effort on our part. The GATT contract initially represents in excess of $400,000 in revenue to Solars in the year 2000." Grand Adventures Tour & Travel Publishing Corporation is the premier supplier of leisure travel information and travel-related services to travel industry employees worldwide. The TourTek system will be formally introduced to the market at the Res Expo, in Dallas, Tex., in late March. https://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/viewmessage.asp?no=892100&tableid=1 250,000 over 11 months = $22,727 per mo. $22,727 per mo. " $331,847 per mo. = $354,574 per mo. As pointed out by a previous poster, this is only 9/54 of the CIMEX corp. tour operators. Potential revenue can be assumed as $250,000/9 X 54 = $1,500,000 from CIMEX alone once fully implemented. SCS Solars closes second TourTek sale SCS Solars Computing Systems Inc SCS Shares issued 30,557,801 Feb 10 close $1.52 Fri 11 Feb 2000 News Release Mr. Robert Chisholm reports SCS SOLARS Computing Systems Inc., a leading developer and provider of business-to-business travel information systems, has signed its second software license and support contract with CIMEX Corporation of Panama. Under phase one of this agreement, CIMEX will rollout the TourTek inventory management and reservation system for nine of its 54 tour operators. This initial contract is worth in excess of $250,000 this year. John Latremouille, vice-president of operations of TourTek said, "The signing of nine CIMEX tour operators this year in South America, the Bahamas, Mexico and Europe gives TourTek the global market presence it's looking for. The first installation, Nassau, Bahamas, has been completed with great success. The successful installation of the first nine will result in additional agreements. CIMEX Corporation has 54 wholly owned subsidiaries around the world and specializes in inbound leisure travel to the Caribbean. SCS Solars Computing Systems Inc. is the developer and provider of proprietary software solutions that help improve the productivity and profitability of travel vendors and travel retailers worldwide. https://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/viewmessage.asp?no=892139&tableid=1 Add SolarBid travel site to the equation. I've only heard rumors as to what this site could generate but, Transat has a one year old site set up for it's french market which generates $25,000 per day. Transat To Sell Trips On Web Travel Site Natl_Post - 2/2/00 6:37:37 AM Peter Fitzpatrick Financial Post Transat A.T. Inc. [T.TRZ] is jumping into the e-commerce business, setting up a Web page to sell trips. "We are aware of the importance of losing no time in staking a choice claim in a booming market," said Jean-Marc Eustache, president and chief executive of Transat. The company's Web site, www.exit.ca, enables travellers to buy holiday packages from three major tour operators, Conquest, Signature and Air Transat Holidays. Functioning as a virtual travel agency, it will sell trips for Transat and its competitors, said Philippe Sureau, executive vice-president. In the future it will sell charter flights as well, he said. The company hopes the site will generate $100-million in sales in three years, based on the assumption that 10% of the sales in the $5-billion leisure market will be made online. The system is based on one Transat set up for its French operations last year -- which is generating $25,000 a day in sales. Air Canada [T.AC] and Canadian Airlines Corp. [T.CA] have both been selling tickets on the Internet for years, but consumer acceptance has been slower than in the United States. Air Canada began selling tickets on the Net in 1998, but Internet sales only account for about 1% of ticketing revenue, said Laura Cooke, a spokeswoman for the company. https://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/viewmessage.asp?no=892192&tableid=1 DW's target is getting to be a few months old at this time. With current annualized revenues running at $354,574 per mo X 12 = $4,254,888 per annum and, a sales force that hasn't had a chance to get it's feet wet yet I strongly believe $9,000,000 will be well surpassed. When DW came up with his target I don't even think he had taken TourTek into consideration. With the revenue TourTek has generated with these two initial contracts, I think TourTek will dwarf the revenue they are generating from the Solarnet Travel Network. It's no wonder they are allowing the Solarnet Mail system to be used for free (along with being a excellent way to bring the Travel Agents on side). DW stated in the Viavid.com interview that SCS is cheap even at his target price.
