TSX-V: SCS and OTC US: SCSIF), a leading provider of information management and electronic distribution solutions for the travel industry, today announced that the first contracted Tour Operator, Travel with Flair Inc., has begun utilizing the TourTek Service Bureau for “live” reservations.

Travel with Flair will use the TourTek Service Bureau for both online bookings and internal reservations. The TourTek Service Bureau allows small to medium size travel tour operators to now compete in a world until now dominated by their much larger counterparts.”
TOURTEK SERVICE BUREAU
The TourTek Service Bureau provides the functionality of a legacy full, in-house Tour Operator Inventory Management System, but at a fraction of the cost. It is based on Oracle database disc partitioning technology and housed at SCS’/TourTek’s Richmond Hill offices. This technology platform guarantees 100% integrity of the Service Bureau customer’s tour product. The Customer no longer has to worry about housing a system internally; the operator simply accesses the service bureau through a high-speed, on-line Internet connection. As a result, the Tour Operator not only reduces their up-front costs, by paying on a transaction basis, but also reduces the need for in-house IT staff. The web front end provides universal booking capability to the reservation agent, the travel agent and to the consumer direct, if desired.
