Share Consolidation

Share ConsolidationI expect we should see some form of announcement coming down the pipe.   The voting was scheduled for last Wednesday so no doubt there is some formal processing that has to be done with the exchange before implementing the change.

For those of us still here I suspect it will be good to have that aspect completed and we can move forward.  At least they were planning to use a 10 to 1 ratio.  Most people buy shares in multiples of 10 so you end up with even numbers.  Have one issue that is consolidating on 12 to 1 which results in weird numbers that are difficult to dispose of at market value.

The trading in SGX since the consolidation planning is somewhat different in that there was not the immediate full implosion to virtually nothing (as in .01).  Whether or not that works out to be predictive of a more positive outcome we shall all eventually see.
