SGL on a roll

SGL on a roll

With the US markets closed tomorrow, the volumes in Canada will be low and as usual find little direction without the US setting the tone.  That's too bad because I believe SGL is set to continue its recent upward trend.  On Friday, SGL shares advanced by 4.8% on significant volumes, the volume traded being greater than 1% of the total shares issued.  I follow the largest 300 companies on the TSX and only 7 others had volumes greater than 1% and of these only 2 (NKO and MBT) had share price increases greater than 4.8%.  For me, these are very positive indicators.  A supporting indicator is that the share price crossed above the 200 day moving average.  If the macro economics cooperate we should see SGL continue its ascent, if not Monday than Tuesday.  Best of luck to the longs.
