Closing Date for Takeover April 7th 2023

In the following press release, it's mentioned that the transaction will close on April 7th. Does that mean shareholders will be paid on $40.50 per share on Friday April 7th?
 

Transactions Update

As announced earlier today, Rogers, Shaw, the Shaw Family Living Trust, and Quebecor Inc. agreed to extend the outside date of the closing of the merger of Rogers and Shaw and the acquisition of Freedom Mobile by Videotron Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quebecor, to April 7, 2023.

Actually, the last day the shares will trade is on the 5th of April.  The deal has closed.  Then it will be disbursement of money, but that probably won't begin until the last day's trades have settled.  With the Easter holiday I imagine no one will receive cash until sometime next week at the earliest.
