RE:RE:Africa Oil Discovers Oil at Ekales Prospect in Kenya

Thx Aton! (get it?) Great post re: AOI, they nearly hit $9.00 today in early trading!
The real interesting stuff is about to start when AOI's next drill program is right beside SMB on Block 9 /Bahasi. This is in the same Anza basin as SMB, TPN and VEL.  And this well is 50/50 with Marathon Oil which may start to bring in some American players, institutions, etc. into the region!!

Further to Aton's quote from the AOI news release, block 9's Bahasi has an estimated 320 Million barrels recoverable:
"The predrill prospective resource best estimate of this prospect is 320 million barrels of recoverable oil (Gaffney, Cline & Associates, July 31, 2013). Under the terms of the farm-out agreement, Marathon Oil will pay for drilling this well."
