Tip of the IcebergTaipan has seen something very interesting to say the least. But what is more interesting is what Afren has seen in Simbas block. There is a very strong rumour that Afren are looking at Simbas Nortnern part in particular where the Tarbaaj oil seep originates. According to our geologist it originates in Simbas block.
Can you imagine if Afren come in and shoot seismic on our Northern block. If I was Afren I certainly would to derisk and want to know as much about the seeps as possible. Afren want to drill in the coming months so we could hear something soon.
