Started this morning at 0.0029 a few hundred thousand shares

At the close

SMBZF 0.0275 + 0.0269

Bid and Ask are BOTH above the closing price

Bid: 0.0278 Ask: 0.05 Vol: 1.93 million

My broker wouldn't allow me to trade the stock

Hey Star, do you think this has anything to do with GameStop traders?

Way back when, I think that Simba was trying to get a joint venture, or get one of the countries to let them arrange drilling.    Their properties have BILLIONS of barrels of oil. If they have arranged something, the stock could go to $$$! Or, like you say it could be due to other reasons. No idea at this time, but things may be interesting next week, especially Monday.

I was able to talk to the CFO, Keith Margetson. He was suprised by the trading and had no idea what triggered it. He said they were still trying to get Simba trading on the TSX but said there was no imminent news.

Just wondering if he said anything more about trying to get back onto TSX? How have they been trying and what the approx timeline would be?..... would you call him again?  We can trade these shares on NEX (otc market) but the rules are vague and charts are delayed. But it would be nice to see it on TSX if they are actually trying?

I asked TD if  you are holding these shares in a CDN acct. can you trade them and they said no. As we know it is cease traded. The person said you would have to get a letter from tthe Cdn. Securities Administrator giving permission to TD to trade it on the over the counter. Good Luck with that !!  All we can hope for is that some big white  knight sees the potential and acquiries

Same here.. 3 nights in a row My TD holdings showed US$0.03c for my few million shares as well but couldn't trade as only SMBZF on OTC Pinksheet is trading...I would also dump at LOSS and get out. SMB has been a Big Heartache, specially with Halt and unclear Directions!!!..UNCERTAINTY and LIES!!

I talked to BCSC (B.C. Security Commission) and the CTO is still in place and there has been no attempt of submitting Audited Finacial Statements... (submitting is pretty simple and for low activity SMB they could do this rather fast).  The Alberta Sec Comm was a bit more helpful and said we could get lawyers involved to be able to sell our shares (though depends on what you own and how much

A few points , it  may be easy to submit financial doc's but who is going to pay for them to be done. Not sure of cost but i'll bet the BCSC will want fees etc. for re listing, i know from another co. i had that had to relist after being halted it cost a pretty penny for fees, fines , cost of having fin doc done etc. As to lawyers i don't know if byy the time they got thru
