RE:RE:powering to a new high - $16.70Mat is corrrect even though stranger things have happened. The chances are very slim. I always thought that SMU management would sell out but that was when the stock was trading significantly lower. 

SMU has the most assets in the GTA. If the recent GTA portfolio sale of a fellow REIT is any indication (sale at 36% over book value) then a lot of these REITs justify the premium. 


Hard to see anyone offer 50% over book value unless its a pension plan which really wants the assets.
