How much will this special distribution be? I hope that it is not too much or the $23.50 won't teally be $23.50 after the tax is paid on the distribution

- most likely the cash will not flow to Summit shareholders until at least 2 days after the delisting so maybe by Feb 23 it will show-up in our accounts.  Sad to see this one go (I already hold ...more

You are correct bcsc ... I was referring to the info which was shared with unitholders at the time of announcing the Arrangement ... specifically that on the closing date (now set at 17 Feb.) each ...more

I believe he is refferring to the amount that will be reported as Other Income rather than Capital Gains and therefore taxed in full at your marginal rate.
