While we ponder
While we ponder about our own destiny,we don`t have to look too far and see what happens to bigger fish when the mixture of right and wrong makes a mess,
Blackberry is in big muddy waters when just a few weeks ago it looked like things were on track,a slow climb predicted ,no debt and a huge pile of money in the Bank (if only we could have that problem).
Analysts on both sides made piles of money, the shorting was brutal and relentless,the American bashing was disgusting,insiders sales and former owners late buys,leaked losses a week ahead of time,the announced layoff of half the work force and now barely two days later a great saviour with no financing yet but with grandiose plans to make it work privately.
Who loses again ??,the faithful shareholder,who gains the most?,the ousted management with incredible settlements and the new owners with already $2.6 billion in the Bank and a possible break out of pieces for sale already thought out.
Will it go through??,will it be stopped by Regulators??, will the Canadian Governement help them with some money to preserve the rest of the workers?.
SAD again,but out of decent folks control.
SAD they keep getting away with it.
It`s not quite over but the damage is done already,whatever happens the taste will remain.
SAD, it`s or was a Canadian Company, deja vu all over.
