RE:3DGo

RE:3DGo
3D_Guy; we agree on many points.
The number of 3DGo users.
I personally never used percentages as a catalyst to anything unless I did a deep DD and saw huge numbers to justify it,but there are many Companies out there that still use the tool and sometimes it works.

As far as transactional VOD,you pulled a post most likely fed by the right parties,1,200 people and some of the percentages again could be twisted.
I am sure that there are other posts and studies done for the other side.

I have friends with Netflix that have not watched a movie in 6 months and I have friends that do it 2-3 times a week.
Quality of content versus quantity of content makes a difference, specially on a niche market,3D.
As far as who wants to watch Thor when Thor 2 is out, that`s baloney, I can watch the Rocky saga forever, specially 1 and 3.

So I disagree on your thinking, I rather pay $13 for two good movies I want to see when I want than $ 10 to have an option to watch something I don`t, again a matter of preferences and you can fill that with more percentages. You will bring Netflix again but they are not 3D.

As far as licences which ones are you talking, we have the main one till 2023.
Creative accounting has been around and will be around after we die.

I agree again "We are dealing with investment bankers here, not techies or entrepreneurs",
But I have learned many things over the years completely removed from what I was doing and became good at them, these guys have been doing this for 14 years, they are no dummies, they just don`t know when to quit and pass the torch over, they did great now get new blood that can execute at least help on doing it, I have been ranting about for a very long time.

WE NEED CHANGES AT THE TOP OR AT LEAST HELP TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN AND EXECUTE THEM SOON.

On the Panasonic subject.

Sensio Technologies Inc. has reached an agreement with Panasonic Corp. of North America, one of the industry's major electronics manufacturers, to offer its The 3DGO! application will be available through the Viera Connect Apps Navigator, Panasonic's a3DGO! video-on-demand service on Panasonic 3-D TVs across the United States and Canada. The service will be made available on all Panasonic 3-D TVs, including current and future models sold in stores, as well as legacy models already in homes in those territories. pplication store, with a target launch of holiday season 2013 in the United States.

"We are extremely proud that 3DGO! has been selected by Panasonic, a key industry player and a pioneer in the development of 3-D consumer products, which shares our strong belief in the future of 3-D and remains committed to its success in the home,"

This PR was released 3.5 months ago, I always imagined Holidays as the Christmas time.
Saying that it should have been ready at least a couple of weeks before with the adequate marketing and people awareness of what was coming, very poor strategy or planning, again.

The PR was not clear and we did not know till now how it`s going to be done ( via porting).
I posted the google version of porting and I will appreciate a confirmation of what really will that mean in terms of revenues..
What I can see IMHO is as being charged a fee to use their devices therefore our profits will be lower, since we have the Studios, NeuLion,3DGo and if I read it correctly now Panasonic.
So instead of the SIO Hi-Fi we "port" on to Panasonic soft-hardware ??
I may be reading it all wrong and want to be corrected.

Thanks.
