In any case everything was ready.
We were waiting for an NR-PR, we could have had almost four hours of good trading and a good base for the following session-Monday,besides having Christmas with a SP in the 20s.
LG had an update on their apps on their website,3DGo free 3D app as of December 24th.
It`s a huge difference between a tweet and a NR-PR,huge.
Everybody waits for and reads PRs,that determines the course to take (buy,sell or just feel better).
I say it was another huge F...Up.and it shows again the miscommunication between upper management and the way they become aware of and release news.
Remember the announcement of the S2D switch Wi-Lan-Sony during the the July CC,they don`t learn.
To make a long story short we missed a possible 5 days of everything related to a good PR, climb on the SP, movie rentals, most likely more 3D TVs sold by LG,if word of mouth it`s what they use we missed lots of that too.
Routhier promised a Launch early on the following week on the CC Friday the 19th, RG did the same (he said FINALLY), we expected one even on Christmas Eve, LG was ready with the App on their page but I guess Routhier was too busy to release a PR, he thought a tweet will do.
Maybe tomorrow they`ll release something, but the launch was official last week.
As of this morning there were no recipients of mass emails, the stores down south had nothing special, the 3DGo web page had not updated the LG launch either on the front top or the compatible 3D TVs.
I know some members will say what the heck is that sailor talking about, we just had a PR.
It`s the way they do things, it was to be our biggest PR and we had another joke.
Now with a new Marketing Director we are going to get something, let`s see if they hired a good one or…..good ones are not cheap.
