Correction - Eventually this will end when SIO gets bought out between .75-1.00. LG 3DGO effectively did not launch until this quarter. Last quarter means nothing. You will see a significant jump is 3DGO users and rental revenues when this quarter earnings are announced. And at the same time we should have more details on when Samsung launches (my guess is October) and when 3DGO expands to Europe. Once Samsung launches 3DGO will be available on 80% of all 3DTVs in North America.
3DGO is consistently in the top 5-10 downloads on LG in both the US and Canada. And that includes all apps downloaded on both 2D and 3D TVs. Once Samsung launches and international expansion continues 3DGO's critical mass will be very difficult to replicate and they will be bought out. At least that's what I'm betting my money on.
