RE:RE:RE:RE:200,000 targetAtomic boy - yes that is correct. 50k users by aug 31. I thought it was aggressive so confirmed directly with Routhier and he expects to hit that target. I think it is aggressive but should easily be over 40k worst case by aug 31.
Remember they had over 20k Vizio users with virtually no marketing and Vizio doesn't even make 3dtvs anymore. I stand by my prediction that LG and Samsung each EASILY more double that each within a year. I think we get to 75-100K users by year end and close to 200K by end of 2016 without factoring international expansion. And those estimates could be conservative.
To date, the vast majority of users are NEW TV buyers. Around 30% of new 3DTV buyers are downloading the app, but very little existing owners know that it exists. The theater marketing that began last week is meant to address that issue. And having BOTH LG and Samsung on board for the upcoming Xmas/holiday sales will potentially be very big.
So count me in the minority as being happy with Sensio and what they are currently achieving.
