yap the question is wy Ralphie is selling..needs money ? ?
Comment by hedge8 on Apr 15, 2015 11:24am
My guess (and I could be wrong) is that Ralph took some customers with him to Cantor, and since Cantor doesn't currently cover SIO there is pressure to sell SIO and buy shares in a company Cantor covers. One thing I've learned over the years is that investors sell for MANY reasons, many of them have nothing to do with the prospects of the stock. But investors only buy for one reason ...more

I happen to disagree Hedge. Ralph was hired as Managing Director,Technologie Research at Cantor Fitz. They expected him to bring over some accounts and or clients from GM. I imagine he has enough leeway to do his own. I don`t worry ...more

Like I said, sales happen for a multitude of reasons. Trying to guess why is a fools game. But I will tell you a firm WILL push to have customers buy shares in securities they are covering or financing, and if a customer has to sell some shares of a company they don't cover to fund the purchase so be it.

Hey Hedge,I just disagree,I do everytime I don`t see eye to eye, but that`s not the problem here. We are behind in many things and one sees things that MAY or not have influence on the outcome, right now there are many out there, we are all in the same leaky boat trying to get to shore without a Captain.   Cheers

Sailor, I think you have a fair point. This share price has increased more based on what Bruce has said and not based on what the management team has delivered. To that extent Bruce has a better record that Nick, but given that ability, Bruce can also talk it up and exit, leaving a lot of shareholders holding the bag when reality once again sets in, as has happened on numerous previous occasions ...more
