Gold and silver ratchetting higher on CPI

Big spike up in gold as NY market opened. Hope Fidelity has some more shares to dump at a big discount to its REAL value today. Managed to gather up quite a few yesterday. Wishing now i had bought ...more

Another big dump down to 2.50

Got filled for a pile more. This as gold spikes up to   $2037  USD again, up on the day and headed for a new record high here very soon. Happy to gather this one up at  nice discount ...more

LAC up  5.88% now today as Lithium miners get some traction. PME now trading at about a 25 cent discount, not sure what the sellers today were looking at. Maybe just more Sell in May.

SO not sure how big the % is in PME, but i am thinking must be around 10% of the NAV... Its been on a run that past few days or so, and today is up nearly 3.5% Really should help the NAV gains today ...more

Discount getting bigger, now nearly 20 cents... and this with gold hitting a record high. USD and gold moving up in tandem today, as the debt ceiling talks get underway. I dont see much headway ...more

So nice move up in the  4 days to start MAY... pullback was a buying opportunity imo. Not sure what the sellers were looking at ... but was NOT alltime record high prices in gold.

  Somebody dumped end of day , maybe a margin call or they did not know gold and silver were hitting highs not seen in a while . Gold actually hit new record in US and Cad . Just the start ...more

LAC up 6.6% today, biggest holding in PME

Unless they sold off a bunch after the acquisition of Arena Minerals, LAC would be about 11 or 12 % of the NAV in PME... Strange that someone dumped some PME today into my waiting bids.. hopefully can ...more

So i do believe, PME had a fair chunk in both LAC and Arena, so the combined entity would be their biggest holding. Not real sure tho as CI funds never gives monthly profile updates on Sentry Select ...more

News of one more mid-size US bank default and up goes gold

Only going to a small bit of bad news to send gold skyward to new alltime highs. Silver been on a big run as well, things looking hot in the precious metals space, but not so great for banksters.
