Spur Mgmt

Spur MgmtI think the time may have come for the Spur Board of Directors to consider a search for someone new that will be able to help Rob Rennie get something done that will actually generate some investor buying interest in this stock.  The sole purpose of these public ventures is to generate progress and earnings in the hope of attracting more investors to generate shareholder value.  It is now 6 years since Rob Rennie came on board as CEO of Spur and we have watched the share price drift from $ 1.80 to less than $ .50.  He has certainly had his challenges in China and the recent progress in China is very encouraging but certainly not enough to generate significant interest in Spur.  Once they have the various transfers and approvals required and get closer to generating earnings in Q2 2012 we will hopefully see some serious buying interest.  Based on previous history, progress in China will likely continue to be slow so it seems imperative that Spur mgmt move on something else in a friendlier jurisdiction in addition to keeping the doors open in China.
