RE: RE: RE: AGM

RE: RE: RE: AGMRight now everyone wants to (understandably to a large extent) unload anything even remotely associated with China.  That is currently largely due to the Sino Forest debacle.  Time will tell.  Markets are often driven by sentiment rather than reason.  Spur however is a different story altogether.  Their JV partner (Xingfa) appears to be a reputable and well connected Chinese company.  My sense is that we will also see an acquisition by Spur this summer.  Spur mgmt has in the past been extremely slow to adapt to market conditions and bureaucracy in China (you could label it as persistence) but hopefully things will improve with a change in direction to a friendlier jurisdiction.  This should have been done years ago as soon as it became evident that the Chinese were stonewalling.  We have waited far too long already so another few weeks for Spur mgmt to get something done seems tolerable.  Hopefully soon.
