Will spud offshore Ireland in July...Serica Energy to Open Data-room For its Slyne Basin Licence, West of Ireland Thursday, February 14, 2008 Serica Energy is about to open a data-room for its Slyne Basin Licence (PEL 01/06), West of Ireland. Serica is planning to drill the Bandon and Boyne prospects with the Sedco 704 rig in July. The Serica Licence is 42km south of the Corrib Gas Field (currently being developed by Shell) and is subject to 25% corporation tax only. Interpretation of newly reprocessed 3D data has significantly reduced the risk of the Multi-Tcf sized structures. Water and reservoir target depths are both relatively shallow. 10 - 50% equity is available and the data-room will close on March the 31st.
