RE: Casey's web site
RE: Casey's web siteOn the junior front, Strateco Resources continued to tally some nice numbers at its Matoush uranium project in northern Quebec. The results from the AM-15 zone included a 5.6-metre interval averaging 1.68% U3O8. Strateco ended the week up C$0.55 at C$1.28.
Another big winner was Tri Origin Exploration. The junior tabled an indicated and measured resource of 8.58 million tonnes grading 10.3% zinc, 1.8% copper, 4.0% lead, 84 grams silver per tonne and 0.54 grams gold per tonne for its 51%-owned Woodlawn project in Australia. Tri Origin ended the week up C$0.32 to C$0.60.
Ecuador remained hot as market darling Aurelian Resources hit another high, gaining C$7.25 to close at C$37.90. Peripheral area players were mxed: Plexmar Resources was up C$0.12 to close at C$0.81, Oromonte Resources gave back C$0.19 to close at C$0.71 and Skeena Resources added C$0.16 to C$0.83. (LRG is positioned near ARU and very HOT and he didnt mention it!)
The trend is your friend and as October comes to close the junior market has now established an upward trading channel. Another positive sign is that trading volumes are picking up and so is investor interest. The prospects for a late year rally in speculative resource issues may be at hand. But only time will tell, so stay tuned.
