RE: RE: RE: RE: i think the take-out price will noSimon, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but, I could show you so many companies trading just as RSC or more "strange"-whatever the definition for strange you may have. Rumours! Rumours are never part of my trading strategy or a driving force of the decisions.
I believe, right now, some people, some who knows, are positioning themselves for a future +run on the share price. Why?! In MHO we are all on hold for the drilling results from PBM property, plus whatever RSC does overall. Why RSC would negotiate a buyout price now before the results out? I would not by/sell a company without knowing what they have or possibly have. If the results a good/exelent, RSC has the first right to buy the remaining 40% of PBM. That would add an extra value to the company. Also, by knowing the CEO record of bringing everything to an end, selling RSC now, sound like a failure to his resume, unless the sell is so good that he/you and every one is so happy with it.
On your question a few posts down, why PBM share price did not respond to RSC share price jump, my take is that the rumours for the drilling on PBM land are only from people some how connected with RSC. Why's that? RSC is paying, RSC is doing the drillings and RSC would get the info from the lab first. Then the info would be shared with PBM for a JV news out.
Good luck and hope the resoults would be out very soon.
