okay, we're out!We got in at around $20, and thought we would hold for 2 years to double. But as you can see, it only took a few months. SSO was our #1 pick in 2006.
We are still holding other gold plays though. ABX, K and YRI. We also sold Goldcorp last week, as we find more opportunity else where.
It was hard selling SSO, as we played this one for a few years, and sort of know their pattern. If for any reason it corrects, I'm sure our group will reselect it again.
Our #1 holding right now is IAMGold. (IMG) & SWG as a spec play. IMG hasn't really popped and SWG is our sleeper pick for 2007.
