The Lake Abitibi Camp could be "another Sudbury" says Greg Gibson.
The world-class Sudbury structure boasts total past production and current reserves of over 1.7 billion tonnes of ore. The Ring of Fire has also been compared in size to Sudbury but the mineralization discovered there is complicated by the lack of infrastructure for transport and processing of the ore, among other things.
The major advantage in the Lake Abitibi Camp is the ideal location right on the highway with all necessary infrastructure including milling and manpower very nearby. Solid Gold holds the largest mineral claim block in the camp.
PS. Hello Dudett
Thank you for pointing out that some of the prospective geology in the Lake Abitibi Gold Camp also lies under the lake, but it is not time to worry everyone about potential environmental matters because Solid Gold's new SG-09 high-grade discovery is at least 2 km south of the lake.
Not everyone knows those details so thanks again.
