I would agree with Sprott that the bullion banks run the gold market on a fractional reserve system just like  regular banks do with paper money. It's not too big a stretch to assume they have got themselves  over leveraged  as did the regular banks in '09.  Banks colluded on the Libor and many of these banks are the same ones that trade gold.


But for Germany to have to wait for 7 years to get its gold and to not actually get past the door to see their gold is certainly unusual. There should be more in way of an explanation. But you would think this situation would rattle the gold market.  Surely it must be considered  a bank closure due to a run on the bank. How else could one see it?
