As for installation. It's a service rig. They are all the same . It's the program of where to install the icds that take a bit of time. They generally go in the hot spots where direct channelling has occurred.
For this they need to instal temp sensors all along the pro string. . One other thing I failed to mention is that icds are new and not used very often. This is because of what I call greed. STP was in heavy debt and when they brought these wells on they needed money fast. So hammer the steam to the zone. I hope they have learned their lesson in future applications. The need to conform the zone slowly. Other wise direct channeling or as they call it "short circuits " will occur. And yes, they have. I am not saying this hasn't happen with other companies in the SAGD world. That's why the need for icds have come into play.
