Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

Junior SAGD companies are going to be a dying breed. From now on I'm only betting on oilsands firms with deep pockets. CNQ and SU are not going to make you rich, but they won't exactly make you poor either.

I had a conversation with Alistair Toward over at PI Financial two days ago.

Anyone who bought down here might be ok. Anyone over $1.00 is probably not going to be made whole. That's coming from Alistair's converastion with Dave Antony, the Chairman, earlier this week.

Alistair mentioned that if McKay can get to about 6000 bbls/day the stock should be near $1.

It's funny that Alistair did not make the connection between the delay in the ICD installation/Senlac drilling with a possible deal until I pointed it out.

Thanks for the pointer duxing regarding sunshine, but other than STP I'm staying away from the juniors - the amount of knowledge we need to effectively trade and not lose our shirts is staggering.
