Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

Herc,

Your right that the ICD's could fail but they're designed for the specific reason of correcting Steam Breakthrough. From what I've read and gathered from this BB is that upon SB(steam breakthrough) the ICD cuts off vapour flow and only allows fluid into the producer well. The steam then has to find another way to get through, which is what we want because at the moment the steam is limited to the breakthroughs and isn't warming up more sections of the well. 

I understand the well 1P5 had a SB, and they installed an ICD in it and well all read from the latest operations release that the well had already more than doubled in production rates by March. Fingers crossed by now we should be seeing some meaningful production out of that well. When we will get some figures is out of our control obvisouly and I'm in agreement with you that share price will likely slide until then.
