"The Next Sandstorm Gold"

"The Next Sandstorm Gold"

Thanks, scissors. (Too big too CUT and paste?)....This is an excellent summary of SM&E's current situation from a longtime follower of both Sandstorms, and everyone would do well to read it.

One little quibble: The August excerpt was before the Colossus deal and IMO Gumshoe's update doesn't fully appreciate it as an indicator of Watson & Company's ability to turn things around and get the company back on track to rapid growth in relatively short order.  SG could have easily held onto Serra Pelada's palladium (along with the platinum) as gold-equivalents, and the fact that they didn't reveals their intention to do "whatever it takes" to support SM&E going forward. Despite its significant recovey, the sp is still undervalued if you consider that one two more promising deals like that could make a huge difference in investor perception, and they could come at any time.

I continue to view Sandstorm as one company with two wings, sort of like the Republicans and Democrats. But it's still very early days for this part of Sandstorm. SM&E - like SG before it - won't really start to take off until an uplisting is in sight and institutional investors join the party.  In the meantime, expect to see a lot of "The Next Sandstorm Gold" teasers coming soon.
