If they had saved any money instead of blowing it away, they couldve used it to pay for the Donner stream. Instead of doing one deal at a time, they blew their wad and ended up w hardly anything. It's very easy for NW et al to take our money, w whatever hyperbole to get it, and invest it in "accretive" deals, then write it down 2 years later. It's a flippant and overeager waste of money. Please realize Erfan hasn't been present at the past two CCs for a reason. Of course they're embarrassed. Out of sight, out of mind.
But its a lot harder if its their own money. Imo , they need to put their own balls on the line and I'm not seeing it. If they had any shred of confidence in what they were doing, they'd take a loan out for their streams, and share some of the cash flow for their investors. Not just buy more shares. Its also a way for them to attract investors, with a dividend. But no one has any confidence in this business model, especially them. They'll never put their own money on the line, it's crazy!!!
Look, I don't need this money and I'm not counting on it for my retirement. Thanks for listening, but the sheep need to stop hoping for the better. GLTA. I'm off this board bc of my negativity .
