Paradigm sold 500,000 warrants @ .005

Does this mean they don't expect snd to reach .70 buy expiry.

Someone who bought feels different.

Since paradigm seems to be very active volume wise, they definitely can influence the price.

As of 11:30 paradigm sold 2,000,000 warrants at .005

They are going to sell all their warrants.  The already bought over 5 millions shares at a much lower price than $0.70.

I bought another 25,000 warrants yesterday at $0.005... I think my odds of profiting are better than the roulette wheel

A puzzler.  I guess it's the clock winding down and worries about the post-election scenario.  We were @ .015 last time we hit this price.  Seen as a last opportunity to divest themselves of large quantities at any price, obviously.  Anon has now taken over the selling.  I'm still holding - it was a bet, after all. Any thoughts on extension, or do we ...more

Any extension would defeat the whole process (ie. everyone would be buying the wts at the current price if they knew there was going to be an extension) give a black eye to the company and damage Watson's very solid reputation. IMHO, there's no chance. Buy the stock, sit back and enjoy the ride.   GLTA

.....warrants for .005 I would like to invest.....but I just don't understand how it works ------------------------------------------------- The warrants are a total gamble.  The expire in 2 months and are exercisable at $0.70 - Therefore if the price isn't above $0.70 you lose your money (Unless they extend the warrant life).   I own 30,000 shares, but I ...more

"The warrants are a total gamble.  The expire in 2 months and are exercisable at $0.70 - Therefore if the price isn't above $0.70 you lose your money (Unless they extend the warrant life)"   I too don't know this process.. is it correct that if I bought 10,000 warrants today for $50, and then the price of SND went to $0.70, I would then own another 10,000 share ...more

Hi Cloudrunner: As I understand it (and I could be wrong), if the stock price hits .70 cents, it gives you the right to purchase shares at .70 cents.  I suppose the advantage is, if the price hits .90 cents, you are still buying them at .70 cents.  However, if the price is under .70 cents, the warrants expire worthless and you lose the money for which you bought the warrants.
Comment by wordless on Oct 30, 2012 7:02pm
thegazelle is correct.  The warrants give you the right (not the obligation) to buy shares at $0.70 per share.  Each warrant allows you to buy 1 common share. Therefore, you are betting on the share price breaking $0.70 before they expire.  If the share price rises to $0.80 (for example) before the expire, your warrants effectively have $0.10 of value.  You could then sell the ...more

I don't think the company has the option to extend publicly traded warrants and if they do I would be interested in someone pointing me to an example. I believe the warrant strike price is in US Dollars as well which could impact whether people choose to exercise these before the expiry date or not (since the stock trades based on Canadian dollars). If by some miracle we do get to 70 cents and ...more
