Stelco Price Earnings Ratio
The average forecasted earnings by 6 analysts this year is $9.08 a share . At 29 dollars a share , that works out to a little more than 3 times earnings . If it trades at just 5 times earnings ( and how many large companies do thar ) we would have a 45 dollar stock . If infrastructure in Canada goes as planned , that 45 dollar a share may seem like a bargain , even though earnings will be lower next year . I would call this a Canadian success story .
