RE: TAH should have taught a lesson
RE: TAH should have taught a lessonYou are right about that statement... and it did teach me and others a lesson.... That the remote diamond mining camps have to be very robust to make a profit especially with the ice road time dwindling every year. The costs of these camps are huge, fuel being one of the largest components.... Isolation another factor... premiums paid to workers and all kinds of boness extras to the workers.
SNO, mud Lake, if successful in proving grades in the 1 ct / tone range will be extremely profitable compared to TAH.... Workers will be able to go home every night, play with the kids and get laid.... makes for a much more efficent workforce...
The cost savings alone on fuel will double the profit margin for the same grade and value of a remote mine.... Thats why you guys are here... you allready know that!
Fact is Debeers saw what they wanted to see in the cores a couple years ago.... stated " You have diamnonds" before any caustic proved that macros were present in the mud lake cores....
Debeers are number 1 in the world in regard to all aspects of diamond indicators, green garnets and indicator minerals... are you saying you know more about diamonds than Debeers?
That is why I would gladly increase my position in the teens... Thats why the stink bid. Just in case you guys squeeze some out of the tube. Or try to wash trade the stock down as you have in the past.
