RE: Snap doesn''''t have a 1.2 Carat cutoff,If that is accurate bert, then why did DDN make such a large move to a 1.50+ with such worthless tiny diamonds? Thats not sarcasim either. I really dont understand why the jump then. Was it the clarity or because they were small but 90% white? Whats the deal in your opinion? Does DDN shareholders just assume there will be larger ones in a bulk sample? Debeers also calculated $450 or so per ton....so thats for the raw diamond...but once its cut it jumps in value to 5000 to 10,000? I know i heard that the cutting is very important to increase a diamonds value but that seems like a huge jump in price. Is that the retail price or what a company can actually get for the diamonds? These companies dont cut their own do they? How many 1+ carat stones would we need of reasonable quality to consider the first 100 ton sample a success?
