RE:RE:DEBEERS CANADA what would minority shareholders do??

RE:RE:DEBEERS CANADA what would minority shareholders do??A hostile takeover would be ex. nice. But, I don't see one happening right now. I speculate that one of primary considerations driving management decisions all along may have been self-preservation. Otherwise, why would you advance a project with such underwhelming economics in these market conditions? Too much risk and too much potential for dilution! It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Could it be that one of the reasons Stornoway stopped drilling Renard was because they didn't want to make the company an attractive takeover candidate? Much better to leave the majority of Renard's value undiscovered. Interestingly enough, that approach is also one which will maximize the control block's returns. Cheap options for everyone. Long-term employment. Unfortunately for minority shareholders, the Stornoway gravy train continues to chug along quite nicely with little risk of derailment.
