i would not say "bowels of the speculative market"The Quebec Government is putting up 36%, or 245 million of the financing. A very large mine financing company, Orion, is kicking in 367 million(39% of the financing). Orion financing manages about 1.7 billion and probably does a lot of research on a project before getting involved or they most likely would not have grown to that size. Also did you know that the investment in Stornoway by Orion is the largest investment Orion has ever made. I am not trying to say that Stornoway has the same amount of risk as IBM, a lot or bad stuff could happen to Stornoway over the next 5 years or so of the mine growth. "Bowels of the speculative market" is as wrong as saying there is no risk.
