Easy now Comm. I would love to invest in this company if I didn't just see a lot of hype and nothing from Joe general public who says this product is the answer to all hearing problems. I am trying to do a little homework here and thinking this board would give me something more than the Sonomax website can. Why are the hearing aids better than say maybe a Beltone? If the Swedish pilots are using these for sound protection, how are they communicating with the command? Or is ground crew just using them? Earbud for Ipods? Earbuds are a dime a dozen. Throw one more brand in there at an ultra premium price and watch it collect dust at Radioshack. Walmart..... well lets just say if you're banking on the the public to buy a high end hearing device at a discount chain store, not a selling point for me. They buy way too much from China and don't think they won't carry those hearing products. I am as about Joe public as a person can get. I've worked in construction and agriculture for the past 30 years and what I've seen is many people not wearing hearing protection. Why? Because they either lost one the high priced ones or they just were not close at hand at the time. This is when the damage is occuring. If these devices are employer supplied, how many times do you think they'll replace a lost $300 set? Comm, I doubt that you've seen the inside of a noisy environment, not to mention know anyone who has used a Sonomax product. Getting upset over a guy asking questions about a company is a little like asking if a Hummer gets good fuel economy and having the saleman flipout. If looking at a set of financials is your way of justifing an investment by DD, well I know where you can find a Hummer that gets 60 mpg.
